Images: Add Photos Without Creating Chaos

Images make a project feel alive, but too many photos can turn a map into a junk drawer.

A simple rule

Attach photos that answer one of these:

• What does it look like?
• How do I recognize it?
• What should I remember next time?

Recommended approach

• 1-3 images per marker is usually plenty
• Use captions or descriptions for context (season, time of day, access)

Sharing consideration

If you share a project, images can change how fast it loads. Keep the essentials.
